Starbucks soon to add to perks of north Houston's City Place - Q1 2022 debut planned on ground floor of The Mark multifamily building

HOUSTON, TX – October 7, 2021 – Starbucks will soon add to the flavorful and eclectic food and beverage mix of north Houston’s City Place. The premier roaster and retailer of specialty coffee is bringing a 1,726-square-foot storefront with patio to 1400 Lake Plaza Drive on the ground floor of The Mark, a luxury, midrise apartment building.

Bruce Frankel of Frankel Development Group was the sole broker and represented the Landlord in the transaction. The Mark, which was developed and is managed by Fein, was acquired earlier this year by an entity managed by CDC Houston, the master developer of City Place, in partnership with Fein.

Slated to debut in Q1 2022, Starbucks will be located in an inline, first-generation space immediately adjacent to recently opened Chipotle, just steps from City Place Park and The Plaza, the waterfront, activated heart of City Place’s 60-acre urban core. It joins newly unveiled neighbors, Dallas import Bread Zeppelin and Sushi Rebel, a sister concept to Houston’s Uptown Sushi.
